HB 3106, 80th Legislature, Regular Session, tasked the Comptroller with establishing and coordinating an enterprise resource planning advisory council composed of representatives from a combination of small state agencies, large state agencies, and higher education. The Council researched the feasibility of ERP in Texas, and submitted a report to the 81st Texas Legislature in December 2008, A Plan for the Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for the State of Texas
